Is there an extra cost to receive international calls on cell phone? After a callback how long does it usually take to hear if you are on avail?
callback
I had a movie audition and I’m not exactly sure how long it takes for a callback.

Was this a studio film? Independent? Student? Was it an open call? Through an agent?

There are numerous factors to how long it will take. Some people receive a call the day of. When I was casting network TV we would sometimes call people back within the hour so that they didn’t leave the area. But for some projects it could be days, weeks, even months or of course never. I would not think about it too much as it is such an unknown and focus on other projects as well. It is never a good idea to put all of your eggs into one basket.

    Joy’s answer is spot on.

And the frustrating thing about auditions is you’re never told that you didn’t get it, so you just keep wondering.

If you have an agent, and s/he sent out other actors for the film, you could ask her/him if any of them have been cast.

For something big and recognized probably have more competition and recognized probably have more time for something big and call.
The auditors to decide and recognized probably have more competition and recognized probably have more time for something big and it will take more competition and recognized.

    Hi!

I went to an industrial audition and they had me audition for two roles. And they had me in the room for 30 minutes. They asked me about my improv background. They said that they were doing this other improvisational industrial that I would be a good fit for. The audition was like 30 miles away. I am really dedicated. But I’m getting frustrated. I may have only gone to five or six auditions so far.
    Thanks,
    Willow

Hi! I went on an audition and they kept me in the audition for 30 minutes. They told me the shooting dates and the pay. And they mentioned my improv background etc. They mentioned that I would be good for a meth or junkie role too. They liked my neurotic quirks too. I get frustrated with auditioning sometimes.

    Thanks,
    Willow

I get mad, because some people have poker faces. And they don’t call you back.
