titobeau:
I have a VoIP router from T-Mobile and neither the manufacture or t-mobile will give me the port forwarding information. I want to run the router through my computer using ICS and use a free program that can give me a log of all the connections it attempts to make. So I can tell my good router which ports to forward for the VoIP service.
I have seen something like this out there but can’t remember which one to use. Please avoid suggesting programs that you haven’t used, thanks.

Wireshark is a protocol analyzer. It will capture the packets and give you information on the ip address and port number the traffic is running on.
