I would like to educate myself about VOIP where to start? Is it cheaper to use Skype rather than phone cards when making international long distance calls?

I need to know the cheapest means to call India from UK from mobile. The least i fancy is Lyca. But is there any other as well.
Any other VOIP or Calling card recommended will also be fine. Thanks in advance

Orange PAYG have a new Camel tariff that means calls to India cost 6p a minute to a landline, 14p per minute to a mobile and 15p per text.

It’s pay as you go so you just top up whenevr you want. It also gives discounts on another 49 countries from 5p per minute. Great if you call international often and don’t want a contract.

    Hope this helps
