I’M DOING BTECH IN APPLIED ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION,SECOND YEAR,I HAV TO PREPARE FOR A PAPER PRESENTATION,I’M CONFUSED ABT THE TOPIC,BUT SOMEHOW FOUND OUT SOME TOPICS AND NOW,I DONNO WHICH TO BE SELECTED. ITS FOR A TECH FEST,A STATE LEVEL EVENT,IT SHOULD BE A CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE STUFF,
IT SHOULD BE RELATED TO MY SUBJECT(BRANCH)
IT SHOULD BE A TOPIC WHICH I CAN GET ENUF REFERENCE MATERIALS,(AS BOOKS AND ALSO FROM INTERNET)
I SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMPLETE IT BEFORE MARCH MID WEEK,
MOST IMPORTANT IS THAT IT SHOULD BE A CREATIVE AND USEFUL TOPIC.

nano technology this intrestin topic because every one want to know there futhure
Nano technology..its gonna hit the world like storm in the next decade or so.
It will replace micro-processors in computing technology.
It will replace old medicines and produce new more effective ones.
Nano technology is the hottest topic..and you can gather lot of info about it that others are yet to get!!
The topics have suggested which area are comfortable withand do as competition but try to ur resume but it as much as much.
ya select nano technology.because present world is going for nano in the future.
I would like to discuss the topics one by one and give the pros and cons of a paper presentation with them. I’m in my final year of engineering. So, i might be a little helpful to you:
1. Nanotechnology: Nowadays this is the most common topic given in paper presentations, although it might be interesting, better not to opt it.
2.LHC: Is it the Large Hadron Collider that you are talking about. If so. It’s a complicated topic according to me and there should be a lot of study on it.Keeping in mind your time, it might be hard for you to give a study on it.But it has a lot of topics to discuss in a ppt.
3.Air traffic control: It’s a good topic, you can choose it, but try to stress on Indian ATC.
4.Limitation of cmos technology: If you are perfect with the electronic devices, you can go for this, because the questions asked may vary a lot.
5.Electronic engine management: I’ve no idea about this topic, sorry.
6.Bluetooth: It’s also been a common topic. So try to neglect this.
7.Hydrone: I dunno about this topic.
8.Wibro:Wireless broadband can be selected but, there are no special pros and cons that you can discuss with.
9. Active pixel sensor:(or the CMOS sensor) can be clubbed along with the cmos technology. It can be selected for your topic.
10.hyperMAN: You can club this with the wibro(i.e’ add a few topics of that to this and also the hyperLAN).
11.Wibree: This is linked to the bluetooth technology, which is a common topic, But as you add this topic to the bluetooth it will be useful.
12. Dynode:You can’t get many references on this topic, So try to leave it.
13.iptv:It’s a good topic, you can cover topics of LAN on this, and also cite out the pros and cons.
14.VOIP: This also is a good topic with many more advantages than the disadvantages.
15.Neuro fuzzy control: Once again this is a complicated topic and hard for a paper presentation. You can’t speak more on this topic.
16.Robotics:Robotics is to be used more on a working model than on a seminar.
17. MEMS:This revolutionary invention is a very good topic for a ppt.
18.Data acquisition system: This also is a good topic.
19.gprs and remote sensing: I’ve been listening to a seminar on this since 3 years now.Actually 3 of my friends gave seminars on this. So leave it, it’s a way too old now.
20.Virtual instrumentation: You would know more about this topic being an instrumentation engineer. Sorry.
21.Micro strip components:It’s hard to speak about components of anything in a ppt. It will then look more like a class than a ppt.So rule this out.
22.Cellular mobile communication: As you know, this is nothing but the common cell phone, Everyone knows about this.
So, the topics you can choose are:
ATC, APC along with CMOS technology,HyperLAN with wibro,Wibree with Bluetooth technology, IPTV, VOIP, MEMS, Data Acquisition system.
I have no idea about electronic engine management, hydrone and virtual instrumentation.
