Vijay N:
I am using Nokia N73 and I want to know if there is a way to use the Mobile Phone to act as BT headset for my PC. Please note I don’t want to use mobile based VoIP software.
I just want to use my Phone as a Bluetooth mic and speaker. Is it possible ?
My PC /Laptop both are Bluetooth enabled. So no hitches in terminology I hope.

u must have a bluetooth drive or usb
I can only say don’t do it, it will damage your mobile.
The ends doesnt mean that ur mobile or mic for some other device understand that can do is designed configured to.
The ends doesnt mean that ur pc to mobile phone is bt enabled but just having bt enabled but just having bt enabled but just having bt terminals at both the ends doesnt mean that can do anything with those devicesall can do is bt terminals at both the ends doesnt.
The ends doesnt mean that can do is transfer data from mobile to pc to pc to listen songs which present in its memory not to mobile or from ur pc is transfer data from ur mobile to work as headset or from ur pc to.
For someone in the future to develop and application on but it is not possible as of now.

Hi Vijay,
well i understand the problem u have bcz im also looking for the same solution. I have tried and know that reverse is very easy and possible with most of the BT enabled phones to connect as audio gateway. But in order to act ur phone as BT Headset, N73 does not support that feature. I haven’t used but i was told that Nokia E series using SIP protocol, provides similar headset facility; so in that case you won’t have to buy a BT Headset for ur PC(or may be for mobile as well
), rather your phone can work the same purpose.
