My husband is in the Navy and going on his first deployment to Bahrain and I am worried about being able to talk to him. I dont want to spend a fortune on international calling. Does anyone know the best way to go about making international calls for the cheapest price? I already checked with ATT (my service) and the cheapest deal is 3.99/mo and .68 per min! That’s expensive!
Also, he said he will prob just buy an international calling card but, how does that work? If he uses the calling card to call my cell, will it just be cheap for him but charge me a boatload for an international call? I’m confused…..
And i HAVE to talk to him, at least a few times a week…..
Thanks in advance
hey! thanks so much for the responses. You guys cleared things up for me about it. Best bet is using calling cards. I just got my first phone call from him 15min ago and he used his calling card. now, he’s leaving tomorrow and will be on a ship! I wonder if they have internet on the ship…. ?
