MichaelMurf.com just got published at the bidding of Michael Murphy. It is one of multiple weblogs that Michael has contributed to building. Right now it is a simple website developed on the WordPress platform, with a focus on substance over form. It leverages the Thesis theme. Michael also has been involved in the development of several more complex web sites as well.

Michael Murphy relocated to CA and now calls home Santa Monica by the famous beach. He focuses in the video arena. His main focus currently is on giving people and others a tool to create streaming video stores that makes it easy for them to send their videos to different screens, including mobile devices. Michael also is an expert in marketing real estate on the web using social media methods. He is an accomplished public speaker.

Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business provided Michael Murphy his formal business education. That program is now ranked the best undergrad business school in the United States. In 2004, Michael graduated number one in his undergrad class. He then received his MS in Accountancy, again finishing number 1 in his class at Notre Dame. With his accounting education, Michael moved to CT where he completed a sought after 1 year internship with the Financial Accounting Standards Board. After that, he chose to head to Colorado and do internet real estate marketing. He became a licensed real estate agent and also earned his distinction as a Certified Public Accountant.

Michael’s activities are wide ranging. Once an outstanding tennis and basketball competitor, he now commits time to cycling, triathlon, and yoga. He especially enjoys climbing big mountains on his road bike. In the winter he likes to ski telemark style. Michael has been to many different places, including France, England, and many others. He plans to travel more down the road, as well as deepen his spirituality.
