what’s the best affordable way to call Philippines from pc to mobile phone?

Ok, so I’ve been using phone cards for the last two years to call my girlfriend and so far, I don’t know what the rates are but a $5 phone card usually lasts around 30-36 minutes while a $10 one runs around 70-80 minutes.

Are there any other way I could call her cellphone?
Has anybody tried calling philippines from the US using yahoo voip or skype or any other service like that?

And I know this might sound mean but please don’t give me random answers or answers you just picked up from google that you’re not really sure if it’s liable or not. The economy’s really going down hill right now and the money issue’s frustrating enough so it would really be nice of you if you could give me an answer from experience or someone else’s experience. Thanks.

I would also appreciate it if you can tell me how long your recommended voip would last in terms of a long distance call to the philippines from the US. Thank you so much.
