Country ex vat inc vat
United Kingdom £ 0.012£ 0.014
United Kingdom – London £ 0.012£ 0.014
United Kingdom – Mobile – Hutchison3G£ 0.144£ 0.166
United Kingdom – Mobile – O2 £ 0.144£ 0.166
United Kingdom – Mobile – Orange£ 0.144£ 0.166

United Kingdom – Mobile – Tmobile£ 0.144£ 0.166
United Kingdom – Mobile – Vodafone£ 0.144£ 0.166
So, their UK rate is £0.014 a minute. It is misleading because I thought it really meant 0.014p not £0.14p a minute.
I spent £15 on a VOIP keyboard and £10 credit. I could have bought an orange phone with £10 credit and pay the same rates anywhere in the country!!! It’s an outrage!
Opinions?

Question by Tigon: Does Vodafone “Top up and Go” Mobile Broadband support p2p, VoIP and VPNs?
I’ve used 3 PAYG Mobile Broadband for about two years and found that it works perfectly with things like p2p and VoIP and for connecting over the internet to a VPN. Because the Vodafone network offers a better signal strength locally I’ve recently bought a “Top Up and Go” Vodafone K3565 USB Broadband modem although I haven’t tried it out yet.
Is there anybody out there using Vodafone “Top Up and Go” Mobile Broadband for p2p, VoIP and connection to VPNs? More precisely, has anybody out there had any success using this kind of mobile broadband with a VoIP program like Skype, or a p2p client like µTorrent, or connected remotely to a VPN over the public internet via their modem?
Anybody know if these services will be available out of the box?
Or will I need to configure the modem’s software in order to do these things?
Information and advice would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
