google some of the lyrics, in quotations
type the lyrics into google
I would recommend getting Shazam on your phone.
I have had good results with it recognizing songs. The only limitation I found is that the song needs to be in its studio/album recording, and not some live version.
after you put it on your pc you should be able to select track info from one of the menu’s.
If that doen’t work just type some of the lyrics that you have into google- that should find them
Type the lyrics you can decipher into a search engine with quotation marks around it, plus the word lyrics. For instance:
“No one wants to be defeated
Showin’ how funky and strong is your fight
It doesn’t matter who’s wrong or right” lyrics
The search should return songs with those lyrics, and the artists who performed them. If the song has been covered multiple times you might have to go to a site like iTunes and type in the title to figure out which artist.
